What I have learned about Craigslist
I've learned a lot in my quest for a truck:
- People will say "Runs great! No issues" which has been a lie each and every time (so far).
- People don't realize that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. One I looked at had treated the back of the truck like a garbage can and was filled with filth.
- Seller's of vehicles are all hallucinating when they come up with the price.
- Rust, rust, rust.
I just have to keep telling myself that the right truck is out there somewhere. Looking at more tomorrow. Hope it doesn't snow too much tomorrow.
While I look for a truck, I'll work on the simplification part. I have a remote controlled plane I flew once for about 3 seconds and then it crashed. I fixed it and since then it has been sitting in the corner.
"Someday is not a day of the week"
Time to get rid of it. I've put something for free on Craigslist before and it's quite amazing how quickly you get a response to 'free'. Try it sometime :)
